From John B. in Palm Springs
I want to find the words to thank Mimi for the work she has done with
me. When I found her on the Internet, I was desperate about my
relationship. Nothing made sense, nothing was constant. The more I
tried, the worse things got with my partner. And then I began talking
with Mimi. The key word there is with. She talked with me, about me,
what I was experiencing, what I was feeling, how I was coping. At last
someone was listening to the nightmare I was in. Over several months,
Mimi got me beyond my frustration and fear and introduced me to the
world of a person with ADD. I learned that Mike’s ADD symptoms had
nothing to do with me. I also learned that changing things had to be a
joint effort truly involving both of us. The end result has not been a
cure, but we now have coping mechanisms. Things are a lot better. And I am also learning to
appreciate the positive side of him being different – which is
probably the reason I was attracted to him in the first place.

Thanks for all your efforts! You did help Seth a lot last semester and
he had a lot of success. I can’t believe he got a 3.2 after almost
flunking out of school and losing his scholarship. I don’t know what
we would have done without you!
From H.J.B. in the Bay Area:
Mimi is a gem! She possesses an exceptional combination of
professionalism and geniality. Mimi has a remarkable ability for
recognizing her client’s intrinsic strengths and weaknesses, which she
uses to optimize results and avoid pitfalls. After just one coaching
session, I felt Mimi fully understood where I was in my life - and
where I wanted to go - even better that I did. With her knowledge of
the complex difficulties women with ADHD face, Mimi has helped me
manage my overwhelming sense of chaos, and has shown me a path of
possibilities. She is flexible in her methods, allowing me at times to
indulge my whims; yet she never – never – loses sight of the goal.

I wanted to thank you because what you do and the way you do it is
really a big help to me. What I am saying is that I am seeing a
difference in how I think. When situations happen that make me feel
paralyzed or overwhelmed, your voice comes up with an alternative
reaction, strategy, etc. And that is what helps me get out of my
block. It’s really working! Thank you again.
